“ADHD isn’t a lack of knowing what to do—it’s a challenge with doing what you know.”
— Dr. Russell Barkley
Living with ADHD isn’t just about being unfocused or disorganized—
It is about having a uniquely wired and different brain, while navigating a world that often misunderstands it.
ADHD isn’t a lack of knowing what to do—it’s a challenge with doing what you know, especially when executive functions like attention, time management, impulse control and emotion regulation are impacted.
We know that treating ADHD is quick, easy and highly effective —and with the right support, you can experience meaningful relief, improved focus and a greater sense of confidence in your daily life.
You may find yourself cycling through bursts of hyper-focus and fatigue, forgetting important tasks, or feeling overwhelmed by simple decisions.
Time can feel slippery, motivation inconsistent, and your emotions can feel intense and fast-moving. Shame, self-doubt and low-self-worth can follow, especially when your strengths—like deep empathy, the rapid generation of ideas, or out-of-the-box thinking—go unrecognized or unsupported.
Whether you’ve been recently diagnosed with ADHD, you self-identify as having it or you have known for years…
This is a supportive, strengths-based, space offering ADHD coaching and ADHD counselling for Women and Queer folks, with neurodivergent minds to explore their patterns, build practical tools and reconnect to themselves and others with a new clarity and confidence.

Understanding ADHD Through a Real-Life Lens
According to ADHD expert Dr. Russell Barkley, ADHD is fundamentally a disorder of self-regulation—impacting how we manage time, organize behavior across time and use internal motivation to guide our actions. This means that, people with ADHD often know what they want to do—but struggle to initiate, sustain or complete tasks in a timely and consistent manner. It’s not about effort or intelligence; it’s about how the brain prioritizes, filters and acts on information in real time.
Some of the most common struggles include:
Time blindness: difficulty estimating how long things take or feeling the urgency of future deadlines
Working memory challenges: forgetting tasks, losing track of plans, or struggling to hold ideas in mind long enough to act on them
Emotional dysregulation: intense frustration, low tolerance for stress, rejection sensitivity and emotional "snap" responses
Impulse control issues: speaking or acting without pause, struggling to delay gratification or stop certain behaviors
Task initiation and follow-through: procrastination, paralysis with unstructured time or burnout from constantly playing catch-up
Chronic self-criticism: internalizing past failures or being labeled lazy, messy or unmotivated by others—even when you try your best
These challenges can erode self-trust, impact relationships and make everyday life feel difficult, scattered and overwhelming.
