Meet Danielle Garrett RCC, Our Trusted Associate

Danielle (she/her) is a warm, compassionate therapist who supports youth (14+), adults, couples, and families through life’s challenges with a deeply relational, attachment-based approach. Danielle offers online therapy for all people of B.C. Canada.

With over 15 years of experience in public mental health, crisis services, and youth corrections, she brings a grounded presence to clients navigating issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, suicidality, and substance use.

Danielle has a particular passion for working with teens and parents, helping them foster stronger connection, improve communication, and emotional insight. She also offers specialized support for new and expecting mothers, as well as, couples navigating transitions, conflict, or disconnection. Danielle creates a safe space where you can feel seen, guided and supported every step of the way.

Danielle is passionate about supporting mothers through the emotional journey of pregnancy and postpartum. She understands that this season can bring deep shifts in identity, unexpected emotions, and moments of both joy and overwhelm. She also works compassionately with those who have experienced miscarriage or infant loss.

Family therapy offers a supportive space to strengthen attachment, emotional bonds and deepen connection.

At its heart, this work is about fostering secure, attuned relationships, where each family member feels seen, heard, and valued.

Together, we’ll explore how patterns of connection, disconnection, and communication shape your family dynamic, and work toward greater understanding and trust.

Family Therapy for New Parents

Family sessions may include new parent support, co-parenting guidance, setting and maintaining healthy boundaries, and navigating difficult life events that may impact the whole family.

Whether you're moving through conflict, transition, or simply seeking to reconnect, family therapy creates space to repair, rebuild, and grow stronger together.

Couples Counselling

Danielle offers compassionate couples counselling and relationship therapy to help you strengthen your emotional connection, navigate conflict, and build a stronger and more fulfilling partnership.

Whether you're preparing for marriage, adjusting to parenthood, working through communication challenges, or healing from betrayal, Danielle creates a safe space for both partners to be seen, heard and supported.

She also offers guidance through separation, divorce, and co-parenting transitions, with a focus on clarity, respect, and care. Whatever stage your relationship is in, Danielle is here to help you move forward with intention and understanding.

Counselling for Teens

Danielle supports youth (ages 14+) through life’s challenges, always with a focus on fostering safety, emotional connection, and understanding. She strives to help teens feel truly seen and heard, creating space to make sense of their emotions, build resilience, and their sense of self.

Danielle also works closely with parents, offering Coaching and Registered Clinical Counselling that supports deeper insight into their teenager’s emotional world.

Together, Danielle will explore ways to strengthen connection, improve communication, and develop parenting strategies that honour both the youth’s and parents’ needs.
