Mental Health & Emotional Wellbeing Issues

Emotional Awareness

Learn how to recognize, understand and respond to your emotions with more clarity and compassion. Together, we’ll develop tools that help you navigate emotional highs and lows without becoming overwhelmed or shut down.

Chronic stress and anxiety can feel like they’re running the show. Let’s slow things down and build simple, effective practices to help you feel more grounded, centered and in control of your daily life.

Stress Management

Mindfulness

Did you know, mindfulness can actually be translated as “heart-full-ness”? Mindfulness is more than meditation—it's about being present with yourself, your needs and what is showing up, in the present moment without judgement. Discover how mindful awareness can reduce reactivity, deepen self-connection and support your long-term healing.

Are you struggling to say no, set limits or protect your energy? Learn how to create and maintain boundaries that reflect your values—without guilt or fear—so you can show up fully for yourself and others.

Boundaries

Assertiveness

Your voice matters. Whether you're speaking up at work, in your relationships, or for yourself, working towards developing assertiveness helps you express your needs clearly, kindly and with confidence.

Coping Skills

Coping Skills are the tools we use to navigate life’s challenges, big and small. Whether you’re dealing with emotional overwhelm, relationship stress or just trying to get through the day, having a range of healthy, supportive strategies can make all the difference.

Together, we’ll explore what’s currently working, what’s not working and build a personalized toolkit that feels both accessible and empowering. From grounding practices to cognitive reframing, we’ll find approaches that support your nervous system, your values, and your unique way of moving through the world. Coping isn’t about avoiding pain—it’s about meeting it with care and capacity and building strategies to reduce the intensity of it.

Support for Health Issues

Your health story is complex, and so are you. Living with chronic or ongoing health challenges affects more than just your body—it can impact your mental and emotional well-being and invite you to reshape your identity, relationships and your sense of self.

In our work together, we’ll create space to explore the emotional weight of illness, the grief of what’s changed for you and the strength you carry through it all. Whether you're living with chronic pain, fatigue, hormonal issues, disability or navigating a new diagnosis, we’ll work together to unpack how these experiences intersect with your emotional well-being, identity and sense of agency.

This is a space where your body is not a problem to be fixed—but a part of you to be understood, supported and honored, as it is, right now. You don’t have to navigate this alone.

Anger Management Support

Anger is a signal, a protector and sometimes a survival tool. Anger is often misunderstood—especially for women and queer folks, who are too often shamed or silenced for expressing it. Anger has wisdom and it can signal when something’s not right or when we are feeling hurt. It can also protect us, alert us and help to guide us back to what matters most.

In this space, we don’t shut anger down —we will explore it, honor it and listen to it. Together we can explore what lies beneath the surface of your anger, which could be hurt, fear, shame, grief or trauma. We can also explore what it feels like in your body so you can learn to recognize your emotional and physical cues and gain tools to respond—rather than react.

Together, we’ll:

  • Decode the messages behind your anger

  • Identify your personal warning signs

  • Develop healthy, embodied ways to express it

  • Explore how trauma, identity and early experiences shape your responses

  • Reclaim anger as a source of power, boundaries and clarity

In a world that labels your emotions as “too much,” reclaiming anger is a radical act of emotional honesty—and of deep self-respect. Whether your anger feels overwhelming or barely accessible, you are welcome here. We will learn to work together with anger in healthy, empowered ways—transforming it into insight, strength and action. And, we can transform your relationship with anger—from something to fear into something that frees and guides you.

Therapy for Depression & Mood Issues: Creating Space for Healing

Low moods, burnout, and depression can feel heavy and isolating and like they’ve taken over your mind, your body and your life. You might be moving through your days in a fog, feeling disconnected, unmotivated or exhausted—emotionally, mentally, and physically. Sometimes even getting through the day feels overwhelming and it’s easy to start questioning your ability to cope and your self-worth.

Depression and mood struggles are deeply human experiences—and often, they are responses to pain, loss, overwhelm or the chronic strain of trying to hold everything together. They can also be shaped by systemic oppression, trauma, neurodivergence, health challenges and identity-based stressors that can sometimes get overlooked in mainstream mental health spaces.

In our work together, we’ll:

  • Explore the roots and patterns of your emotional landscape

  • Identify how your thoughts, behaviors, and nervous system may be reacting to deeper pain or unmet needs

  • Work with tools grounded in evidence-based practices such as mindfulness, cognitive behavior therapy, somatic work and self-compassion

  • Create space to grieve, rest, feel and heal—without pressure or shame

  • Reconnect you to your strengths, values, inner resilience and grit

This is a space where your experience is valid—whether your depression is recent, long-standing or shows up in waves. Healing doesn’t have to mean constant positivity; it means having the support to move through your feelings, notice the lessons it brings you and gently make changes that help you feel more alive. This space offers gentle support and evidence-based approaches to help you find relief, reconnect with yourself and move towards hope and healing.

You deserve care. You deserve relief. And you don’t have to go through this alone.

Discovering Your Strengths

You are more resilient, capable, and creative than you may realize, even if life’s stressors, loss, or challenges have made it hard to see your strengths clearly. It can be easy to overlook these qualities, especially when faced with life’s difficulties. Strength isn’t just about lifting heavy weights or pushing through when life gets hard—it’s about recognizing and using your personal character traits that reflect your best self on a daily basis.

Strengths are qualities like courage, kindness, perseverance and curiosity that help us thrive and live with meaning. Knowing what matters most to you and honoring your inner world allows you to live more intentionally and authentically—showing up in ways that align with your values and true potential.

In our work together, we’ll explore what it means to thrive—not just survive. This process isn’t about becoming someone new—it’s about returning to the truest version of yourself. It’s about remembering that your identity, emotions, body and story are not obstacles to growth, but essential parts of it.

Let’s uncover your inner strengths and wisdom—so you can lead with authenticity, make empowered choices and build a life that reflects who you truly are. You don’t need to earn your worth. It is already here.

Let’s work together to rediscover your inner strengths and wisdom—and use it as a foundation to create a more vibrant, value-driven life.
